CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Bente leverages her knowledge of EU policy and sustainability to transform the apparel and footwear sector. With an academic background in political sciences and sustainability, she has followed the legislative journey of the textile industry since 2018. First, she worked at the German Economic Institute on European emission trading systems, then spearheaded public affairs for Cascale’s (formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition), where she met Baptiste. With her strategic and optimistic approach, Bente assists organisations and businesses in turning policy debates into actionable steps. Originally from Berlin, Bente now lives in Amsterdam where she spends her free time training for her next triathlon.
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Baptiste, an engineer by training, combines extensive expertise across the apparel and footwear ecosystem. At Decathlon, he aided Eastern European and Southeast Asian manufacturers in adopting sustainable practices and, after eight years in the field, he founded and led their inaugural sustainability department. He later became Vice President of Cascale’s (formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition) first European office, directing their transparency and policy initiatives. Outside of work, Baptiste is passionate about spending time at his family’s organic vineyard in southern France.
Richard Lawson
SUSTAINABILITY & POLICY DIRECTOR
Richard is a strategic sustainability leader with over fifteen years of experience in the fashion and consumer goods sector, from manufacturing to retail and luxury to mass market. At 2B Policy, he focused on helping organizations map the complexities of sustainability policy onto the realities of their own business. This means embedding ESG policy into corporate strategies and drilling into specific data points required for compliance. A bit like his passion for running, Richard sees the business adoption of EU Policy as a marathon, not a sprint.
Gintare Petreikyte
SUSTAINBILITY & POLICY MANAGER
Gintaré combines legal expertise with public affairs and specializes in due diligence, forced labor, and deforestation policies. As Sustainability and Policy Manager at 2BPolicy, she provides strategic solutions to complex challenges, drawing on her experience as a public affairs analyst at Policy Hub, where she supported apparel and footwear companies in their sustainability transitions. Gintaré’s analytical skills and innovative thinking guide her approach to enabling organizations to navigate regulatory complexities and drive sustainable growth.
Maxime van Hoeve
PUBLIC AFFAIRS COORDINATOR
Maxime is a curious and socially engaged MSc student in Earth System Governance, aiming to creatively contribute to renewing interconnected social, political and ecological systems. As Public Affairs Coordinator at 2B Policy, she supports the 2B Policy and Policy Hub team in accelerating systemic change in the textile industry. Maxime’s background fuels her commitment to sustainability, ensuring her work contributes to meaningful progress.
Vasilis Triantafyllidis
PUBLIC AFFAIRS ANALYST
Born and raised in Athens, Vasilis gained experience in public affairs at Randstad Global after finishing his degrees in Slavic studies and political science. As a Public Affairs Analyst at 2BPolicy, Vasilis supports the team by analyzing and monitoring relevant EU legislative files. His analytical skills and background provide valuable insights into EU policies, enhancing the team's strategic approaches.
Patrina Feucht
TEAM ASSISTANT
Patrina is a proverbial jack of all trades, originally from Portland, Oregon. From teaching the art of tea, exploring the culinary world as an aspiring chef, and creating as a fibre artist to time spent as an events coordinator, plus-size model, and Jazz vocalist, her journey has been anything but ordinary. Now, as Baptiste’s assistant at 2BPolicy, she ensures smooth operations and serves as the organizational heart of the team. Patrina’s diverse experiences contribute to her unique approach to managing team logistics, bringing creativity and efficiency to her role.
Marina Prados
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Originally from Spain and based in Brussels for the last seven years, Marina has a background in politics and translation and has worked as a Senior Consultant on Sustainable Products and Trade. At 2BPolicy, she is dedicated to supporting the Policy Hub, where she serves as Director, focusing on policy coordination and stakeholder engagement. Her multicultural experience enhances her ability to navigate complex policy environments, fostering effective collaboration.
Svenja Balkhausen
SUSTAINABILITY & POLICY MANAGER
Svenja grew up in a German-Danish family and studied Liberal Arts and Sciences at Leiden University, along with grassroots fundraising for an environmental NGO. As a Sustainability and Policy Manager at 2BPolicy, Svenja supports PEF projects. Her work leverages her upbringing, which instilled deep care for the environment, to drive impactful sustainability initiatives.
Antoine Demarche
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Antoine, originally from Belgium, has over a decade of experience leading EU public affairs strategies. He has advised luxury goods manufacturers and supported the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries as well as the transition to hydrogen for the transport sector. As Director at Policy Hub, he helps organisations across the textile value chain navigate and anticipate the constantly evolving EU regulatory framework while maintaining their competitiveness.
Annica Edl
POLICY ANALYST
Annica, from South-West Germany, has a Political Science, International Law, and European Human Rights Law background. Through her experiences at the Council of Europe and the German Sustainable Investment Forum, she developed a passion for the intersection of human rights and sustainability. As a Policy Analyst at 2BPolicy, she focuses on human rights protection, policy advocacy, and circular business practices, ensuring impactful contributions.
Aurélia Bichet
SUSTAINABILITY & POLICY MANAGER
Originally from France, Aurélia holds a master’s degree in Governance of Sustainability and has 3 years of experience as a sustainability consultant. As a Sustainability and Policy Manager at 2BPolicy, she focuses on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Green Claims Directive, helping companies navigate the intricacies of CSRD and operationalize the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) across various industries. Her academic background and hands-on experience enrich her contributions to the 2BPolicy team.
Emilie Carasso
SUSTAINABILITY & POLICY DIRECTOR
A passionate sustainability professional, Emilie has spent her career working at the junction of regulatory affairs and environmental footprinting: in a trade association, public servant, or consulting role. Using her chemical engineering background to understand industrial complexities, she supports 2B Policy by breaking down legislative talk into clear and actionable recommendations. As Sustainability and Policy Director at 2B Policy, she supports organisations in understanding sustainability and footprinting-related legislation, such as CSRD, green claims, and ESPR, and facilitates these conversations in industry-wide projects. When she’s not in the office, you can probably find Emilie somewhere in the Swiss Alps, enjoying the beautiful nature she’s committed to protecting.
